Mould Assessment & Asbestos Testing Services
At Vertex Analytics, we specialise in hazardous material and mould analysis. We focus on surface and air quality assessments, and NATA accredited asbestos testing of bulk materials and airborne fibre analysis. We accept samples of asbestos and mould for both residential and commercial testing.
No matter the size or demands of your project, Vertex Analytics has you covered: our mission is to ensure safe, healthy living and working environments through precise and reliable testing.
Asbestos is a hazardous material that requires meticulous handling and testing.
Our asbestos testing services are comprehensive and performed in alignment with Australian Standard 4964: Method for the qualitative identification of asbestos in bulk samples. All results produced are suitable for application in the formation of Division 5 and 6 hazardous material assessments, as per the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2017.
All Vertex Analytics asbestos test reports indicate the presence or absence of the three legislated fibres: chrysotile, amosite, and crocidolite. Where not found, non-asbestos fibre types are also indicated, such as organic or synthetic fibres. If a detailed investigation is required, contact Vertex Analytics to discuss.
Vertex offers Asbestos testing Victoria-wide, with our expert team available for asbestos testing in Ballarat, Geelong and Melbourne.

Poor temperature control, inadequate building ventilation systems, flood damage and home maintenance issues are common causal factors for mould growth and infestation. Left unchecked, mould poses significant health risks and requires professional mould assessment and testing.
Vertex Analytics specialises in all things mould, with McCrone Research Institute certified analysts and customised reporting in alignment with internationally recognised test methods (ASTM D7658 & D7391). Our test reports detail the type of mould present, the growth condition, and spore count. Microscopic images where appropriate are also supplied to definitively validate that mould is present.
Our reports also provide a wealth of information on particulates, such as pollen, fire damage residues (soot, char) and organic/mineral dusts to provide a measure of the cleanliness of the area assessed. Where specialist examination is required, contact Vertex Analytics to discuss.
We provide mould exposure testing and mould detection in Geelong, Melbourne and across Victoria along with comprehensive mould inspection reports and recommendations.
